Update from: Mladen Buntich regarding storm drains

Unfortunately, we have been slightly delayed due to the rain last week and today. Our revised completion dates are below. I’ve done my best to include some time within these dates to account for the rain next week. The date highlighted below represents the paving work which we will need resident vehicles parked away from our trench limits.

Estimated Completion Dates:

General Construction in Avocado Grove HOA

1/9/23

Final Asphalt Placement

1/16/23

Vehicle Gate Loop Installation

1/18/23

Traffic Striping

1/20/23

Thank you and we hope you have a wonderful New Year!

Happy Holidays to all of you!

During this special time of year, we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, and it’s a great time to reflect and remember those who may not be able to share the holiday season with us while also remembering and honoring those neighbors and friends who are in the military, away from their families and homes.

As your Board President, I would like to update our residents on the board's achievements over the last year. We are happy to report several projects completed this year and a few more nearing completion in the coming weeks. Those projects include:

o   Hiring a new management company (Bayview Property Management)

o   Renovating the pool house bathrooms

o   Installing 6-foot fencing on Colima

o   Purchasing beautiful new pool chairs, tables & umbrellas

o   Resurfacing the pool (reopening the first week of January 2023)

In 2023 we will be embarking on several long-planned projects, including:

o   Fence installation on Camino del Sur

o   Entry gate modernization

o   Camera & security upgrades around the community

o   Tree pruning and removal

o   Fire abatement

There is still much work ahead, and we ask all of you interested in learning more about where your HOA funds are being spent to join us in our monthly board meetings and to join our social media groups on Facebook & Twitter:

o   fb.com/groups/AvocadoGroveHOA

o   twitter.com/AvocadoGroveHOA

Additionally, we have a board seat open, and our management company has mailed a flyer inviting you to join the January 23rd virtual meeting at 7 pm to learn more. Don't hesitate to contact Bayview at 714-369-8947 if you have questions.

As we move forward, let us continue to work together for our beautiful neighborhood's common good and improvement, and I look forward to seeing you all at the pool this summer!

Lastly, I’d like to extend my warmest thanks and appreciation to my fellow volunteer Board members: Roderick, Ralph, and Jonathan, for their endless contributions to our community.

I wish you all a blessed and joyous holiday season!

Respectfully,

Marc Houston Perez
